Examining an X-ray

WUICD

Center for Advance Oral Health (CAOH) provides, to the general public , treatment and prevention of common oral diseases such as dental caries, periodontal diseases and complex diseases such as orofacial pain, facial growth and development deformities, malocclusion, and restorative dentistry (Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, and dental implant). What made the stand out from the general dental clinic is our integration of teaching, research, and service to profession together using IT technology management. We have developed the software for clinic management system including patient registration, appointment and electronic treatment records preserving and running in the digital environments which facilitate the treatment processes. The patients are taking care by the graduate students (Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program) under the supervision of the experts in the field. We then can use the gathering of patient’s information (including sociodemographic data, medical and dental history) for teaching, research and treatment to promote the oral health wellbeing.
